The $100,000 infield consisted of first baseman Stuffy McInnis, second baseman Eddie Collins, shortstop Jack Barry and third baseman Frank Baker. Baseball historian Bill James rated the 1914 edition of the $100,000 infield the greatest infield of all time. The $100,000 infield helped the Athletics win four American League championships in five years. Approximately 3" x 4" black and white photograph in a plastic casting. The autographs are done in pen and in our opinion, rate a 7 overall with the Collins, Barry and Baker signatures being more prominent than the McInnis. On the back of the photo, the names of the players are written in pencil. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA and an LOA from PSA/DNA.
