Benched early in his college career because his coach didn't like his revolutionary, razzle-dazzle style, Bob Cousy (HOF) went on to help build the Boston Celtics of the 1950s and 1960s into basketball's most enduring dynasty-America's team. Cousy was the heart and soul of a team of stars that featured Bill Russell, Tommy Heinsohn, KC Jones, Bill Sharman and Satch Sanders. He played in 13 straight NBA All-Star Games and earned six NBA championship rings. He led the league in assists eight consecutive seasons and consistently ranked near the top in scoring and free-throw percentage. On the inside back collar of this short sleeve fleece Boston Celtics green warm-up jacket is the "Horace Partridge Athletic Goods" manufacturers tag with the jacket size "42". Across the front of the jacket is "BOSTON" in white on yellow tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is a white name plate with the player name "COUSY" in green tackle twill, it is attached to the back of the jacket with seven metal snap fasteners. On each sleeve is the official "Celtics Shamrock" logo in white on yellow tackle twill. The jacket has six green buttons. The jacket shows nice wear and there appears to be no alterations of any kind.
