On the inside of the shell is an “AMERICAN BASEBALL CAP” size “7 1-8” manufacturer’s sticker. On the inside of the shell adjacent to the rear leather band is a piece of tape that reads, “Tresh 15” on it. The front of the helmet has the team’s “NY” logo stamped in white. There is a slight sign of cracking on the right side where the bill connects to the rest of the helmet. The underside of the bill is almost all scratched in addition to the inside of the shell. There is scratching throughout the outer shell as well, but less apparent than the inside. This batting helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
Early 1960s New York Yankees Game-Used Batting Helmet Attributed To Rookie Era Tom Tresh
