The Buffalo Braves team existed from 1970-78 and are now the Los Angeles Clippers. This jersey was most likely worn in pre-season by a player who did not make the team. On the left front tail of the jersey is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. There is “+1” hand written in black ink. On front is “BUFFALO” done in black on white tackle twill along with the team “B” logo done in black and orange on white tackle twill. Player number “30” appears on both the front and back in black on white tackle twill. On the inner rear lining of the shorts is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “34”. Attached is a blank white flag tag. Embroidered underneath is an orange strip tag with “Smith 3” (for Elmore) done in black. On the front left leg is “BRAVES” done in black on white tackle twill. The jersey and shorts show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. This is the first time we have handled a uniform of this style. Originally sourced from the team trainer.

Early 1970’s Buffalo Braves Team Issued Road Jersey with Early 1970’s Elmore Smith Game-Used Road Shorts (2) (Exceedingly Rare)
