"He became the most difficult low-post player to defend in the history of the league," contended former NBA coach Hubie Brown in the Boston Globe. "He was totally unstoppable because of his quickness, diversification of moves and long arms that gave him an angle to release the ball over a taller man or more explosive jumper." Kevin McHale had all of these qualities, coupled with an uncanny ability to get the free-throw line or nail the high percentage shot in the clutch. On the left front tail of this home knit jersey is the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label. The player number "32" is written on this label in black marker. Below this is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "44." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Celtics" and on the back is the name "McHale." The player number "32" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. All the letters and numbers are made of green tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
