From 1920 until his death in 1944, Kenesaw Mountain Landis was the Commissioner of Baseball. Landis had to difficult task of restoring the credibility of the sport after the Black Sox World Series scandal. “SPALDING” manufactured ONL Heydler baseball in NRMNT condition. Landis signed the baseball on the sweet spot in fountain pen and in our opinion, rates a 5 overall. There is an inscription above his signature that is faded and difficult to make out. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an additional LOA.
Kenesaw Mountain Landis Single-Signed ONL Baseball (JSA • Rare)
