Bobby Baun spent 13 seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs and is best-remembered for scoring the overtime game winning goal in Game 6 of the 1964 Stanley Cup Finals. After taking a Gordie Howe slapshot to the ankle, Baun left the contest. He returned in overtime to score the goal and his Maple Leafs went on to win the Game 7 clincher. It was not revealed until after the series that his ankle was indeed broken. On the right inseam is the Doug Laurie manufacturer’s tag. The jersey has numerous repairs throughout the front and sleeves as well as staining. Across the chest is the iconic Maple Leafs logo crest in blue and white felt and on the back is the player number “21” in blue tackle twill. There is appropriate fading to the player numbers. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a Selby Colson LOA.
