Dick Garmaker was a 1955 consensus All-America along with Bill Russell. Drafted by the Minneapolis Lakers twice (1954, 1955), he joined the team for the 1955-1956 NBA season. In his four-plus seasons with the Lakers, Garmaker appeared as an NBA All-Star four times. In the back collar of this jersey is the "Lowe & Campbell Athletic Goods" manufacturers size 40 tag. Across the front is "LAKERS" with the player number "16" below and on the back. All tackle twill is done in light blue on yellow. In the back waistband of the white satin shorts is the "Lowe & Campbell Athletic Goods" manufacturers size 38 tag. The jersey and shorts show nice game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Dick Garmaker.
