Adrian “Odie” Smith played 11 seasons in the NBA and was the 1966 All-Star Game MVP. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame in 2010 as a member of the 1960 USA Olympic basketball team. In the rear below the collar is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Attached is a blank flag tag. Across the chest reads “ROYALS”. Across the back on a blue nameplate is the player Smith’s nickname “ODIE”. The Royals were known for being unique and creative when putting player’s nicknames on the back of of their warm up gear. All numbering and lettering is done in white on red tackle twill. This shooting shirt is properly tagged, was presented to us as player worn and shows wear.
