Don Drysdale was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. The nine-time All-Star won three World Series championships, won a Cy Young Award and has his No. 53 retired by the Los Angeles Dodgers franchise. On the inside below the rear collar is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On this tag, the number “53” is written in pen. There is also a number "44" that is crossed out. Across the chest reads, “Dodgers” in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the blue satin jacket. It measures out to a size 50 with extra length, which would indicate it was worn by Drysdale. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
