Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985, Lou Brock was a six-time All-Star and led the National League in stolen bases in eight seasons. A two-time World Series champion, Brock has his No. 20 retired by the St. Louis Cardinals franchise. On the inside of the batting helmet is an “AMERICAN BASEBALL CAP” manufacturer’s sticker with the size “7 1-8”. On the inside pad, “BROCK 20” is written in black pen. Remnants of the inside padding are visible. The inside of the helmet has scratches throughout and shows outstanding use and wear. The team’s, “STL” is on the front of the batting helmet in white and blue and on the top of the bill is the white player number “20”. There is pine tar all over the outside shell and there is a slight crack on the left side where the bill and sheet meet. This helmet was presented to us as game-used and is an outstanding example with natural signs of use of from a Hall of Famer.
