After a live comedy appearance on the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards, controversial Brooklyn comic Andrew Dice Clay received a "lifetime ban" due to his profane language and offensive jokes. Jeff Hamilton has been manufacturing the highest quality jackets in the world since 1988. This one-of-a-kind white leather bolero-style jacket with black trim was made for Andrew Dice Clay for his performance on the 1989 MTV Music Awards. On the inside collar of the leather jacket is the "Jeff Hamilton" manufacturers label with the size "M" flag tag. Side tie straps, four zippered pockets on the front. Clay has signed the front in black marker "To Jeff, MTV, Sept 89, Banned, Andrew Dice Clay." Jacket shows nice wear with some fading on the front leather. Signature and partial inscription exhibit some fading and rate a 5 to 6. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and an iron-clad letter of provenance from our consignor.
