Lou Piniella spent more than half of his 20-year playing career with the New York Yankees. During his playing days, fiery "Sweet Lou" won the 1969 AL Rookie of the Year and was part of the Yankee squads that won the World Series in 1977 and 1978. Perhaps better known now for his managerial career, Piniella won a third World Series ring in 1990 as manager of the Cincinnati Reds, and has also managed the Yankees, Mariners (twice winning Manager of the Year honors), Devil Rays and his current team, the Cubs. Lou Piniella has hand signed this MLB baseball and added the inscription "1969 ROY", which comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
