On the front left tail of this kid’s flannel is the MacGregor manufacturer’s tag size “36”. The iconic Yankees “NY” is on the left chest and the number “5” is on the back in navy blue felt representing DiMaggio Jr.s father. DiMaggio Jr. signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “This shirt was a gift from my Dad. I loved it. As a boy I wore it to Spring Training and a Father-Son game on Father’s day at Yankee Stadium.” DiMaggio Jr. signed beneath this inscription with the date “5/24/81” and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a PSA/DNA LOA.
