On the inside of the button path is a “STARTER” tag with materials and washing instructions. On the inside below the rear collar is a “STARTER” size “L” manufacturer’s tag with the player number “18” written on it in black pen. On the left sleeve near the cuff is a Starter logo embroidered. On the left chest is the team’s “NY” logo in orange on blue stitching. The second jacket is constructed in nearly identical fashion. The Starter tag on the inside button path is missing and the player number “16” is written on the manufacturer’s tag. Below the manufacturer’s tag on the second jacket, Dwight Gooden signed in black pen with the added inscription, “1985 Cy Young Season” and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. These jackets are properly tagged, were presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion show appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
