Pele is widely regarded as one of the best football players of all time. In 1999, he was voted Football Player of the Century by the IFFHS International Federation of Football History and Statistics. Throughout his career, he scored 760 official goals, 541 in league championships, making him the top scorer of all time. Offered in this lot is a plethora of autographed items from the legend himself. Two Athleta manufactured “CBD” Pele yellow jerseys autographed on the front of one and the back of the other in black marker and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8.5. Also included are six oversized photos that measure approximately 20” x 16” and a canvas print that measures 28” x 20”. Five of the photos are identical showing Pele on the field and the sixth shows Pele hugging the other legend Muhammad Ali. Pele signed all of these and in our opinion the signatures rate between 7-9. Each item has been stickered by PSA/DNA and eight COAs accompany this lot.
