Sam Snead was one of the top players in the world for the better part of four decades and won a record 82 PGA Tour events. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974 and received the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998. In a letter dated "October 21, 1996", Sam Snead states, "This "Bill Hart" silver square-headed side-saddle putter is from my personal collection of putters that I used throughout my golf career." On the opposite site of the putting face, "Bill Hart" is engraved. The club has "The "Original" Kinghorn Tackey Grip". This club was presented to us as player-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
