Smith-Miller started in the 1940s and they were one of the first companies to make toys in aluminum. One side of the original box reads, “SMITH-MILLER INC. “Famous Trucks in Miniature” 1-420 COCA COLA” and the other side of the bo reads, “”AMERICA’S FINEST TOY” SMITH-MILLER SMITTY TOYS”. The cab of this truck is cast aluminum. Smith-Miller closed down in the 1950s so offered is not only a rare, vintage toy but also one of the mint condition Coca Cola collectibles, which is a desirable combination. The yellow truck comes with all of the original Coca Cola bottles and bottle holders. This same style Coca Cola delivery truck was appraised on the Antiques Roadshow and that video can be seen in our online listing. The original box is VG-EX condition.
