Having to deal with a sore hamstring, Roger Clemens fought through five scoreless innings on October 21, 2001 in New York. The Rocket allowed one hit and was relieved at the start of the 6th. His performance carried the Yankees to a 3-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners in Game 4 of the AL championship series. This game-used second base, taken from Yankee Stadium shows good game-use. Two sides of the base show the ALCS logo, and the other two sides show American flags. The top of the base is well covered in stadium dirt. On the bottom, there is an "Authentic Game Used" MLB sticker, and "2B" written in blue marker. This base was personalized with "ALCS GAME 4 10/21/01 YANKEES 3 SEATTLE 1," and was signed by Roger Clemens below in blue Sharpie marker. The autograph rates an 8 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
