"SHER-WOOD" manufactured Goalie stick used by Hall of Famer Ed Giacomin during his first season with the Detroit Red Wings. On the lower shaft of the stick is the stick manufacture date, "DEC 18 1975", stamped in red. On the upper shaft is the player name and number, "GIACOMIN E. 1", stamped in black. The blade is heavily taped and has a 1-1/2" crack at the bottom center. The top is also taped on the nub. Shows excellent game-use.
