This 1917 Boston Red Sox Season Ticket Book was issued to Larry Gardner’s wife. The front of the booklet reads “BOSTON AMERICAN LEAGUE BASE BALL CLUB RED SOX 1915 - WORLD’S CHAMPIONS - 1916 SEASON 1917”. Handwritten on the appropriate “Issued To” line is “Mrs. W.L. Gardner”. Some tickets have been torn out of the book for use, but the majority remain intact. Each remaining ticket is for the “GRAND STAND” and is stamped “584” in red. The booklet shows vintage aging including a large crease on the back cover and light staining to the front cover. Measuring approximately 5” x 2.25”, this is a rare offering of a Season Ticket Book with direct lineage to a player’s family.
