Offered is the only known surviving player example of a 1928 Tigers flannel uniform. In the rear collar is the Horace Partridge manufacturers tag. Adjacent below is a white strip tag reading the player name “Neun” embroidered in red chain stitching. Across the chest of the flannel jersey reads “TIGERS” done in orange on black felt. The team logo on back has been removed with a slight outline remaining. This is the only Tigers jersey in this style that we have ever seen in 30 years and was likely used in the 1929 season as well. Inside the rear waistband of the pants is the Horace Partridge manufacturers tag. Adjacent below is a white strip tag reading the player name “Neun” embroidered in red chain stitching. The belt is intact around the waist. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
