George Willis “Kiddo” Davis played all or part of eight seasons in the majors, for the St. Lous Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies - winning a WS in 1933 with the Giants, alongside Mel Ott. Nicknamed “Kiddo '' because he typically played up in age as a youth. Inside the back collar of this cream colored flannel is the SPALDING manufacturer’s tag with size “42”. Chain stitched inside the back of the tail is “38”. Sewn into the collar above is “George Davis”. Reds team logo is done in red and black felt on the left breast. Embroidered on the left sleeve is the “baseball Centennial” patch. Player number “48” is also done in red on black felt, on the back of the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear.
