Very rare Ruth / Wagner combination, amongst others (23 total). This is a 1938 Pittsburgh Pirates Spalding ONL Ford C. Frick (President) blue steel-tip fountain pen autographed baseball, with Babe Ruth & Honus Wagner. After his storied playing career, Babe Ruth made his coaching debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers on June 19, 1938. He was hired by Dodgers EVP Larry MacPhail to coach first base and hopefully light a spark for the team. HOF signatures include: B. Ruth, A. Vaughan, H. Wagner, P. Traynor, and L. Waner. The keys are C. Blanton and E. Brandt. The ball is evenly toned overall rating a 6. In our opinion, Ruth rates 6-7 and Wagner who is on the sweet spot, 5-6. Accompanied by a letter from JSA.
