The Yankees met their familiar rivals, the Brooklyn Dodgers, in the 1952 World Series and won the Championship in seven dramatic games. This "Wittnauer" pocket watch was awarded to Herman Krattenmaker, an associate of the team from their minor league farm system, and is engraved "World Champions 1952" around the edge. On the reverse is the Yankees Top Hat logo and the year "1952." It is in need of a good cleaning and save for that is in excellent condition. Accompanied by a letter from Krattenmaker.
