For ten seasons, Hall-of-Famer Harry Gallatin used his skill and desire help usher professional basketball from the old-times into the modern era. "Horse", as he came to be known, was the New York Knicks first round draft pick in 1948 and went on to become the NBA's all-time consecutive games played leader with 682. He was chosen to play in seven all-star games and the offered uniform was worn by him during the 1955 mid-season classic. On the inside rear tail of the jersey is the "Horace Partridge" manufacturers label with the size "44." The player number "11" appears on the front and back and is done in blue tackle twill. Also on the front and back are 12 red tackle twill stars. Included with the jersey are the shorts that have the "Horace Partridge" label in the waist with the size "36." Next to this is "Gallatin 11" in black block lettering. The uniform shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
