Lot #11:

1956 Gil McDougald New York Yankees Game-Used Road Flannel Jersey

In the back inside collar is “G McDougald” embroidered in blue chain stitch on a felt strip tag. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 40 tag. Below is the wash instructions tag. And below those is the “1956” embroidered felt strip tag. Across the front is “NEW YORK.” On the back is the player number “12." All lettering and numbering are done in navy blue felt. The numbers have been restored. The jersey shows game-use and besides the restored numbers appears to have no other alterations of any kind
