On the left front tail of this grey flannel jersey is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Inside the rear collar is a grey strip tag with “DeMaestri ‘60” embroidered in red chain stitch which is sewn through the collar. . This red chain stitch in 1960 NY Yankees jerseys is generally accepted as a World Series jersey. Across the front is “NEW YORK”. Player number “20” appears on back which appears to have been restored. All numbers and letters are done in navy blue felt. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
