Rocco Domenico "Rocky" Colavito, Jr. was the fifth player in American League history to have eleven consecutive 20-home run seasons (1956-66), reaching 40 home runs three times and 100 runs batted in six times during that span. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label and size "42". Above this label is the "61 Set 1" felt strip tag in black chain stitch. On the left breast is the Detroit "D" and on the back is the player number "7". Both the letter and number are made of navy blue felt. It appears that the "7" was put on by a local team seamstress, but all original. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
