Don Larsen's career won-loss record was 81-91, as a journeyman pitcher for seven different franchises from 1953-1967. Larsen's singular accomplishment was pitching the only perfect game in the history of the World Series. He was pitching for the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers, on October 8, 1956. His perfect game remains the only no-hitter of any type ever pitched in postseason play. On the front left tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's size "48" wash instructions tag. Below on a felt strip tag "1962" is chain stitch in black. In the back collar is a felt strip tag with "Don Larsen" in black chain stitch. Across the front is "GIANTS. On the back is the player number "18." All lettering and numbering is done in black on orange felt. The jersey is autographed on front in blue marker and rates an 8. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
