This ring is a salesman's sample and practically identical to the one presented to the NY Yankees after winning the 1962 World Series. Cast in 14K gold and laureated, on the top perimeter in gold letters of this size 10-1/2 ring is "New York Yankees, World Champions." On the top center is set a gold square (angled to resemble a baseball diamond) inlaid with a large round cut stone. The left and right shank are identical, with "1962" gold letters in relief on the top and a raised gold Yankees "top hat" logo below. On the inside of the ring is stamped "14K." Ring shows some wear and is in overall EX-EXMT condition.
