In 1996, Gail Goodrich cemented his place in basketball history when he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1963-64, Goodrich and John Wooden lead the UCLA Bruins to a perfect 30-0 record and a NCAA Championship. At the next level, Goodrich was the leading scorer (25.9 ppg) on one of the greatest teams in NBA history, the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers. Inside the front waistband is a box tag reading the player number “11” embroidered in blue. Adjacent are the outlines of multiple manufacturer’s tags that have been removed. Vertically down the sides reads “LAKERS” in blue tackle twill. There is staining present throughout. These shorts are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used attributed to Gail Goodrich and show wear.
