Wes Parker wore this jersey during the 1965 World Series and is accompanied by a letter from Parker that in part states, "This Dodger road uniform is the one I wore while starting at first base and batting .304 throughout the seven games it took us to win the 1965 World Series. Dodgers clubhouse man Nobe Kawano gave it to me the day after we returned home to clean out our lockers.” On the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “42”. Embroidered below is “Parker 65” embroidered in blue chain stitching. Inside the front left tail is a tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading “SET 1 1965”. Across the chest reads “Los Angeles” in blue felt. The player number “28” appears below in red felt and on the back in blue felt. Also included are a matching pair of Rawlings size “34” pants with the same “SET 1 1965” attached. Adjacent is a strip tag reading “Parker 34 26” embroidered in blue. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Parker LOA and a PM&G LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
