A member of the MLB All-Century and All-Time Teams, Ted Williams was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 on the first ballot. Williams is a two-time American League MVP and Triple Crown winner, a 19-time All-Star and a six-time AL batting champion. Williams is also the last player to bat .400 in a season. Offered is Williams’ coaches-worn flannel jersey during Spring Training. On the front left tail is the McAuliffe manufacturer’s tag with two box tags beneath reading “‘66” and “46”. Adjacent above is a strip tag reading “Ted Williams” embroidered in red script style chain stitching. Across the front reads “RED SOX” and on the back is the number “9”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue felt. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a MEARS LOA grading the jersey an A9.
