These awards come to us from the Maravich family. Each is bound in a leather envelope, measuring 10-1/2” x 8-1/2”. Inside the first is a certificate with “United Press International / All American Team 1970 Pete Maravich Louisiana State University in recognition of his selection by United Press International Sports Editors as a member of the UPI All-American First Team (signed) John Griffin”. The second award is identical except the last line on the certificate “…Player of the Year on the 1970 UPI All-America Team”. The covers each show some wear. EX overall, interiors are NM. Accompanied by a Maravich family LOA.
