HOFer, Mike Schmidt was won by his era’s best athletes and all time greatest Phillies. Pete Rose once said, “To have his body, I’d trade him mine and my wife’s, and I’d throw in some cash.” Shmidt was inducted into Cooperstown in the first ballot of 1995, with 96.5% votes. Adirondack model MS20 Flame Treated bat that measures 35 & ¾” and weighs 34.30 ounces. This bat shows; evidence of heavy use with a small handle crack, cleat marks, ball impressions, multi color bat rack streaks, ink transfers, slight grain swelling above and below the barrel-stamp and a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number (MS20) is stamped into the knob, Schmidt's number (20) is written on the knob in black marker and “33 ½” is written in pen. Schmidt signed the bat on the barrel “Mike Schmidt” in dark blue marker, in our opinion rating a strong 8. This bat was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA, as well as a PSA/DNA Pre-Certification LOA.
