During the 1972-73 season, Barry averaged 22.3 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game earning him a spot on the Western Conference All-Star team. He played in all 82 games that season, led the league in free throw percentage and ranked in the Top 15 for almost every other major offensive category. Barry was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history and was enshrined into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987. He is the only player in history to lead the NCAA, the ABA and the NBA in scoring for an individual season. Adding to his career accomplishments, Barry was an eight-time All-Star, named to the All-NBA Team five times, was an NBA Champion as well as Finals MVP and he led the league in scoring (1967) and steals (1975). On the front left tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with size “44” and wash instructions. Adjacent to the left is a dark yellow felt strip tag that reads “24 443 72” in black chain-stitching. Across the front of the golden yellow jersey reads “GOLDEN STATE” with the outline of California and the player number “24” adjacent to the right as well as on the back. All are done in blue felt applique. Across the back is the player name “BARRY” in blue tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
