Carl Yastrzemski is an 18-time All-Star, the possessor of seven Gold Gloves and a member of the 3000 hit club. He is the Red Sox' all-time leader in career RBIs, runs, hits, singles, doubles, total bases and games played. In 1967, Yastrzemski achieved a peak in his career, leading the Red Sox to the AL pennant for the first time in over two decades. On the middle tail is the McAuliffe manufacturers tag. Adjacent above is a year “1972” tag and below is a size “42” tag. Across the chest reads “BOSTON” and on the back is the player number “8”. All numbering and lettering is done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill. Yastrzemski signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “HOF 89” and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey a 9+.
