The 3-time World Series Champion and 17-time All-Star Pete Rose is one of the greatest hitters in MLB history. He holds MLB records for hits, singles, games-played and career at-bats. On the inner rear left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “42” and wash instructions. On the left chest is the “REDS” logo in white chain-stitch embroidery on red tackle twill. On the right chest and on back is the player number “14”. Across the back is the player name “ROSE”. All are done in the same red tackle twill. The shortened straight cut tail is consistent with other known exemplars of early Rawlings knits. These knit jerseys were one of the firsts implemented as the flannels were being phased out. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. One of the finest Rose knits we have ever handled.
