Tony Esposito was one of the top goaltenders in the NHL and international competition during the 1970s. Esposito was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988 and has his No. 35 retired by the Chicago Blackhawks franchise. Inside the rear neck is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions and a heavily faded size that is illegible. Adjacent below is the “GUNZO’S” distributor’s tag. On the chest is the team’s logo embroidered in orange, green, red, white, blue, yellow and black chain-stitching on tan tackle twill. There is an alternate team logo on each shoulder in chain-stitching on black tackle twill. The player number “35” appears on the back and on each sleeve in white on black tackle twill. Stick marks are present on the sleeves and there are abrasions on the inside that align with his chest protector. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a 9.
