Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993, Walter “Sweetness” Payton was named to the NFL 1970s and 1980s All-Decade Team in addition to the NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team. Payton was named AP First-Team All-Pro six times and his No. 34 is retired by the Chicago Bears franchise. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. The player number “34” appears on the front, on the back, on each sleeve and across the back reads the player name “PAYTON” on a navy blue mesh nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in white on orange vinyl. There is a large team repair on the left shoulder. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from Oscar Gonzalez, the lead sales representative of Rayson Sports, Inc. of Chicago. His company laundered and repaired the Bears jerseys. According to his letter, this jersey was gifted to him after the 1983 season. Also accompanied by a MEARS LOA grading the jersey a perfect A10.
