Gaylord Perry was inducted into the National Basketball Hall of Fame in 1991. A five-time All-Star, Perry was a two-time Cy Young Award winner and led the MLB in wins three times. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Wilson” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “INDIANS” and on the back is the player number “36”. These are done in white on navy blue tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “PERRY” in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red jersey. On the left sleeve is a team logo disc patch embroidered. Perry signed below, “INDIANS” in pen and in our opinion, rates a 7-8 overall. On the inside of the rear waistline is a “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On this tag is the number “39” embroidered in navy blue stitching, which was custom made for Perry. Adjacent is a red strip tag with, “36 39 29” embroidered in navy blue chain-stitching. Two numbers are crossed out on the inside of each pocket. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
