Bruce Sutter was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006. In the rear neck is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “42 77 2 44” embroidered in blue chain stitching. On the front left tail is a box tag reading the year “77” also embroidered in blue chain stitching. On the left sleeve is a Cubs team logo patch. Across the chest reads “CHICAGO”. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “42”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue tackle twill. The jersey is sans the black armband on the left sleeve. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use with an apparent photo-match to a Sporting News cover. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a 9+.
