First-ballot Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson had no problems playing under the bright lights in New York. The slugger won two World Series Championships in his first two seasons with the Yankees, winning the World Series MVP in 1977 after he hit three home runs in the clinching game of the series. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Inside the rear collar is a grey strip tag with “Jackson 79 2” embroidered on it in navy blue stitching. Across the front reads “NEW YORK”. Player number “44” appears on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in the same navy blue tackle twill on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. Immaculate all-around condition. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows excellent use.
