Reginald Martinez Jackson led the NY Yankees to three American League Championships and World Series, including his third trip in pinstripes in 1981. "Mr. October" was known for being "the straw that stirred the drink", on his way to induction into Cooperstown in 1993. This "New Era" manufactured cap size "7-1/4" has the interlocking "NY" on the front. Under the brim is the player number "44" written in black marker. Adjacent is an autograph with inscription "44 3/4/81", also done in black marker rating an 8-9. The cap shows outstanding overall game-use with sweat stains throughout and tremendous wear. The brim is bent in two places and has the stitching underneath coming apart. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA as well as an additional LOA which originally sources the cap coming directly from Jackson himself.
