Larry Bird's natural scoring ability earned him 12 NBA All-Star appearances, three MVP awards, two NBA Finals MVP awards and three NBA championships. In 1983-84 Bird had one of the most complete seasons a player could have, winning the league MVP, the NBA Finals MVP and naturally, a championship. Bird was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame two times, once for his individual career and once for his involvement in the 1992 United States Men's Olympic "Dream Team", and has his No. 33 retired by the Boston Celtics. On the front left tail is a "Sand Knit" distributor's tag that reads, "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the BOSTON CELTICS". Below is a "Sand-Knit" size "46" manufacturer's tag. Across the chest reads, "CELTICS", the player number "33" appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, "BIRD". All numbering and lettering are done in green tackle twill sewn directly onto the white knit jersey. The lettering and numbering are affixed by a wide zigzag pattern stitch, which matches a Gerald Henderson exemplar perfectly in the form of application and color hue in the green twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from Grant Gray, who served as the Director of Team Security & Director of Team Practice Facility for over three decades.
