Archie Manning was selected in the 1971 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints. He went on to conclude his career with the Minnesota Vikings in 1985. He played only one game for the Vikings during the 1985 pre-season and retired after that game. This jersey was worn in 1984 as well as in 1985 for the one pre-season game. On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with jersey size "42". Adjacent is an "Exclusive Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag. Player number "4" appears on the front, back and on both sleeves screened on in white. Player name "MANNING" appears on the back in white tackle twill on a purple nameplate. There is an autograph on the back number "4" done in black marker rating a solid 9. On the left breast is the Vikings "25 1961-1985" embroidered patch which was worn in pre-season. The jersey shows excellent game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
