Considered one of the most prestigious trophies in all of sports, the Vince Lombardi Trophy is awarded by the NFL each year to the Super Bowl Champion. The trophy depicts a regulation-size football in kicking position. Players and VIPs are also awarded a small version of the trophy, this one celebrates the San Francisco 49ers' 38-16 victory over the Dolphins in 1985's Super Bowl XIX. Measuring 15-3/4" tall (the team trophy measures 22" tall) and mounted by the original owner on a 5-1/2" wood base, engraved on the front is "Vince Lombardi Trophy, Super Bowl XIX Champions, The San Francisco 49ers" with engraved NFL logo plaque attached.
