One of the NBAs most intimidating centers during the 1970s and 80s, Artis Gilmore was a quiet man with a big presence. In 12 NBA seasons he scored better than 15,000 points and was an 11 time All-Star. This uniform was worn by him during the 1986 All-Star game. On the left front tail is the "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with the size "46." On front of the jersey is "NBA All-Star" in red and blue iron on lettering. The player number "53" appears on both the front and the back in iron on blue lettering. Also on the back is the player name "Gilmore" in iron on blue lettering. In the waistband of the shorts is the "Sand-Knit" tag with the size "36." "West" appears on each leg in red and blue iron on lettering. the uniform shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
