HOFer Paul Moliter made seven All-Star games and was the 1993 WS MVP - he is also one of only five players in history with 3,000+ hits, a lifetime .300 BA, and 500+ career stolen bases. According to the provenance, Molitor used this bat against Bret Saberhagen during the game that Molitor collected his 37th of his 39 game hit streak (August 22nd, 1987), where he went 2-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI. Louisville Slugger 125, black Paul Molitor H176 model bat, measuring 33 & ¾” and weighing 30.55 ounces. This bat shows evidence of; handle crack, minor grain swelling, ball marks/stitch impressions where the finish has lifted and ink transfers. Player number (4) is written in white marker on the knob. The bat is autographed in silver marker on the barrel in silver sharpie, in our opinion rating a strong 8.There is a PSA/DNA sticker on the end. This bat was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA, an LOA signed by Troy Kinunen with a picture from the player signing and an additional Notarized Letter Provenance: Notarized Letter of Provenance, which relays that he obtained the bat from Tom Kubenick, “A prominent Milwaukee business man who was well known by members of the Milwaukee Brewers organization including players and staff”. Kubenick obtained the bat from the Milwaukee Brewers bat boy on August 22nd, 1987 at Milwaukee County Stadium. On that date, Paul Molitor hit in his 37th consecutive game. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
